Greg joined the Gruhn Guitars repair shop in 2005 and has kept things running smoothly and efficiently since becoming Repair Shop Manager in 2012. He came to Nashville from New York with a lengthy background in repair and setup of a broad range of electric and acoustic instruments. He also has extensive experience in customer service and fine-tuning instruments to personal taste.
Greg spends his extracurricular time on guitar-related endeavors as well. He is featured in an in-depth video training course titled "Guitar Setup and Maintenance” on the DVD produced by Legacy Learning Systems, Inc., works as an ambassador with DR Strings, and formulated the eco-friendly instrument care products Professor Green’s Instrument Polish and Fretboard Conditioner. He is currently a member of the North American Folk Music and Dance Alliance with C.F. Martin Guitar Company and is also a recognized guitar setup and repair expert teacher of an informative workshop for general guitar maintenance and setups for guitarists at the Legacy Days Guitar Gathering.
