1954 Fender Stratocaster
This first-year-of-issue Fender Stratocaster looks almost identical to today's Stratocaster for the simple reason that Fender got it right the first time. The Strat was - and still is - the ultimate combination of aesthetics and functionality in electric guitar design with the Stratocaster.This guitar (inv. #EF7032) has a neck date of 5-54 and a body date of 6-54. The knobs have been replaced, as has the tremolo cover backplate. In VG+ condition with hard case, it is offered at $40,000
