The only thing traditional about Fender's revolutionary Stratocaster of the 1950s was its color - sunburst. In the 1960s, Fender responded to a demand for more colors with a standardized set of custom finishes. This 1964 Strat sports one of the more popular custom colors - Lake Placid Blue.

This instrument (inv. #EF7043) is in VG+ condition and has been professionally refretted. he neck date, pot dates and pickup dates are all 1964. With original hard case it is offered at $24,000.
