1958 Fender Stratocaster
In 1958, after four years of only minor changes in the Stratocaster (the original design was so spot-on that no changes were needed), Fender enhanced the Strat's visual appeal by adding a third shade to the standard two-tone sunburst finish.This example has a body date of 4-58 and a neck date of 3-58 and sports the new three-tone sunburst.
This instrument (inv. EF7052) is in excellent condition, with a replica headstock decal. With original tweed hard case, it is offered at $23,000.
