1972 Hermann Hauser II
Hermann Hauser II was the third of four generations of German luthiers. His father gained his greatest fame through guitars he made for Segovia, while Hauser II may be best known for a guitar played by Julian Bream from 1959-63.
This 1972 example (inv. #AC1666) is one of the cleanest we have ever seen. It features a beautifully figured bearclaw European spruce top and Brazilian rosewood back and sides. Scale is 660mm, nut width is 52mm nut.
This guitar is in exceptionally fine condition and has a superb sound. With original hard case, it is offered at $32,500
