1959 D'Angelico Excel cutaway
John D'Angelico, who died in 1964, set the standard for handmade archtop guitars, and this 1959 Excel cutaway (inv. #AR3125) is a classic example of the master's art. This 17"-wide model represents the ultimate combination of beauty and power in an acoustic archtop. It is in excellent condition (there is one small area of belt buckle wear on the back) and comes with its original bill of sale. With hard case, it is offered at the reduced price of $25,000.
