1952 Fender Telecaster

The original owner set it up with a Bigsby vibrola not long after he bought the guitar, and the installation kit included a surround for the lead pickup as well as an aluminum shim plate for the neck. The owner even put on Bigsby strings at one point.
The owner kept the original bridge unit, which bears a stamped serial number, as well as the "ashtray" bridge cover, and they are still with the guitar. Also included are the original Bigsby installation instructions, a small promo photo of a Telecaster with a Bigsby, and several Bigsby string wrappers.
This instrument is in VG+ condition. The neck is marked TG 7-2-52; the neck pocket is marked Davis 6-12-52. The pots were replaced in 1955. With a 1960s black Tolex-covered Fender hard case it is offered at $22,500
