PA2895, Fender Bassman, 1957, owned and used by Tom Brumley throughout his career. Tom was instrumental in the creation of the "Bakersfield Sound", his earliest work was between 1963 and 1969 playing steel guitar for Buck Owens and the Buckaroos. This amplifier was used in the recording of the famous Buck Owens hit song "Together Again" in 1964. He continued to play steel guitar in recordings and performances with Rick Nelson, Chris Isaak, Merle Haggard, Glen Campbell, Waylon Jennings, Ray Price, Reba McEntire, Chris Hillman, Rod Stewart and Martina McBride. Tom purchased the amplifier new in 1957, Leo Fender fitted it with a 15" JBL D130F speaker and installed black Tolex instead of tweed cloth - an instruction sticker remains inside from Leo to Tom ...$15,000.00
