Gruhn Guitars Gibson ES-345

1962 Gibson ES-345 TDC

Following on the success of Gibson's ES-335, the first semi-hollowbody electric, Gibson expanded the line upward. Although the inlay and binding of the ES-345 are fancier, the original patent-applied-for humbucking pickups provide the same sweet sound that the "dot-neck" 335s are famous for. The Bigsby vibrola on this example is original.

This guitar (inv. #EH5691) comes with the original bills of sale (it took the owner several payments to complete the purchase), a photo of the original owner playing it in a group called The Vistas, and one of The Vistas' business cards. In VG+ condition with original hard case, it is priced at $6500.
